PTA & P.E. dept. will be hosting “CATCH NIGHT” on March 12th 4:30 – 7 pm.
This FREE Event will be held at Hopewell Middle School in the upper & lower commons. All Hornet Staff & Students & their Families are invited. Lots of VENDORS, fun activities including Zumba, Martial Arts and some GREAT Raffle prizes … fit bit, google home mini’s, RR Express passes, 1 free hour at Dart em up, bowling passes & MORE !!!
PTA Board for 2019 – 2020
Nominating Committee will be accepting applications for officer positions on our PTA board. Some members will be returning & some will take on a different role BUT all positions are considered OPEN !!!!! We LOVE growing our HORNET family and especially our PTA. Applications are DUE by April 10th. Be a part of this hardworking team of men & women who aim to make Hopewell even more AMAZING ! As you know it takes more than one person to do some of these chairs so if you would like to help us out please VOLUNTEER.
“GLOW” Dance – March 29th 6 – 8 pm
This is our LAST DANCE and it will be a FUN one. Tickets will go on sale the week of – 5.00 for regular & 8.00 for VIP tickets which will include early entry, GLOW sticks, FOOD voucher for a CHICKEN sandwich / chips / drink or HOTDOG / chips / drink. Regular tickets will be sold at the DOOR for 7.00 and you can buy GLOW STICKS at the door. Concessions will be OPEN !!!!!! Parents we would LOVE your HELP !!!!!!!

This is a GREAT / NO HASSLE way to raise money for our school. Last year we earned $162.00 with only a few people participating. This year we have 75,000 points = $150.00 The more you snap – the more money we earn. Some schools earn thousands of dollars because they get everyone involved. Anyone can do this ………………………. SPREAD the WORD !!!! Our GOAL is 100,000 points but I know we can surpass that.

Hopewell Middle School PTA has been recognized by the National PTA as a “PTA School of EXCELLENCE” for 2018 – 2020. Mrs. Garinger & Lisa Bonnell graciously accepted the award at the RRISD PTA Council Luncheon in October 2018.
