Hopewell Middle School PTA has been recognized by the National PTA as a “PTA School of EXCELLENCE” for 2018 – 2020. We are in the process of renewing and need your help. PTA Chair Positions OPEN
Concessions chair – We are in need of a concessions chair. Concessions stand is located in the lower commons area. You would be responsible for OPENING & CLOSING the stand for each home game. Volunteers ( adults & students ) are recruited to help with running it during games. Our menu is simple & appeals to our customers & is cost friendly yet profitable. Girls volleyball 1st home game is Thursday Sept. 21 and everything will be set up and ready for you to take over. Then you have boys & girls Basketball & then nothing until Spring soccer ( only 3 home games ).
If you are interested in the concessions chair position – please let us know. You will have great support from our PTA to get you started.

Spiritwear ( New Hoodies & T-shirts ) will be available for purchase throughout the year. See Alice in the front office with exact change or a check made out to Hopewell PTA. Some sizes are limited so get yours before they sell out. Cost of spirit wear now includes TAX so t-shirts are 14.00 and Hoodies are 23.00 Lanyards will remain at 5.00.
This is a GREAT / NO HASSLE way to raise money for our school. We earned $200.00 for the school last year & the counter was reset end of August so we begin earning again. The more you snap – the more money we earn. Some schools have earned thousands of dollars because everyone got involved. Anyone can do this …………. SPREAD the WORD !!!! Our GOAL is to reach 50,000 points by the end of December & 100,000 by end of June.

We currently have 375 members. Buying a PTA membership helps our PTA do wonderful things for our Students and Staff. You do NOT have to be on the PTA or Volunteer for anything. Cost is 8.00 for parents / staff & community members & just $5.00 for students. $4.50 goes to Texas PTA and the rest to HMS. Our GOAL this year is 500 members !!!!!!!! Want to be involved – be on the BOARD, help out certain Board Members, volunteer at events or maybe just donate food and drinks occasionally. Being involved is the BEST way to help you feel connected.
Parent volunteers are a huge resource & offer terrific support for the school & PTA ! NOTE: To volunteer at the school / at an event – you MUST complete a volunteer background check. Whenever you help out at the school with any event please sign in as “VOLUNTEER” and print off your badge.
School Supply Lists
School supply lists for each grade are posted on the schools website. There are also distribution lists for each grade level. This list will tell which supplies go to which teacher and which supplies you give to your advisory teachers.
